About
I'm Abby — a consultant, speaker, and storyteller who has spent years helping organizations serving older adults — from small senior-focused businesses to large senior living communities — connect with families in a more meaningful way.
After years in senior living sales leadership, I've had the privilege — and the responsibility — of guiding families through one of the most emotional decisions they'll ever face. I've listened to their fears about safety, their guilt about "placing" a parent, their confusion about costs, and their deep love for the people they're trying to care for.
Those conversations changed how I think about marketing, communication, and engagement in the older adult space. It's not about closing a sale. It's about earning trust — and then honoring it.
That's the lens I bring to every organization I work with, whether it's a senior living community, healthcare provider, home care agency, or senior-focused business. Whether I'm helping a team strengthen its storytelling, creating video content, supporting family engagement initiatives, developing educational programs, or speaking at an industry event, my goal is always the same: help you connect with families in a way that's honest, human, and genuinely helpful.
What makes my perspective unique is the combination of senior living expertise and professional communications experience. My background spans senior living sales leadership, life coaching, public speaking, volunteer leadership, relationship-based consulting, and professional media production.
In addition to my work in senior living, I've delivered national on-air presentations, produced television and media content, and communicated with live audiences for organizations including WebMD, HP, Disney/World Talent, Women's Entertainment Television, Four Seasons, and Ritz-Carlton Residences. Those experiences taught me how powerful authentic stories can be — and how the right message can build confidence, connection, and trust.
Today, I bring all of those experiences together to help organizations serving older adults tell their story more effectively, engage families more meaningfully, and showcase the people and purpose behind their mission.
Because families deserve more than a brochure, and the organizations serving them deserve more than a script.
Background & Expertise
The organizations that win families' trust — whether they're a small senior-focused business or a large community — aren't the ones with the best amenities. They're the ones that make families feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.
How I Work
Families can tell the difference between a scripted pitch and a genuine story. I help organizations serving older adults — at every scale — lead with what's real, because that's what builds trust.
Understanding what families are going through isn't just the right thing to do — it's the most effective way to guide them forward. Every touchpoint should reflect that.
I've worked inside the older adult space. I know the pressures, the goals, and the gaps — whether you're a small company or a large community. My recommendations are grounded in what actually works — not theory.
